I can't stop thinking about baptism today

Good afternoon.

Today is a day when I would like to inundate you with quotes from other individuals - people who offer framework for my thoughts, people who have spoken more on the topics running through my head, people who are not in my shoes with my responsibilities. Sometimes historically recognized quotes can touch a person's nostalgic-nerve, or other times a leader can deflect responsibility for responses when offering another individual's words. These thoughts have all crossed my mind.

Instead, I took most of today to read, pray, write, and record. In today's video you'll receive my words reflecting on what's on my mind; it's a lot about baptism.

Last week's video in the newsletter said we'd be starting 'live' viewings of worship. It didn't work, and I don't know if it'll work this week.

The plan is to try the same tools again this week. If it does not work, we will shift platforms for 'live viewing' for June 7th. Please watch the worship email that arrives on Sunday morning for the details.

Please note this week's education hour is a church-wide gathering via Zoom. Logging in will be via the information used for Fellowship and Education Hour each week. If you don't have that information and would like to join, please 'reply' and the information for using a computer or smart device can be shared. It will also be possible to call into the gathering.

Peace,
Rev Elizabeth
