7:00 p.m.: Joint Ash Wednesday Service with the Lafayette United Methodist Church to be held at First UMC-Lafayette (1255 Centaur Village Dr.); message by Pastor Dave: “The Kingdom of God Is Within You.” It will include the imposition of ashes and special music from our combined choirs .
Sundays, February 26th – March 25th :
8:00 & 10:30 a.m.: Lenten Worship Services with a series of messages on The Lord’s Prayer:
2/26: “Our Father, who art in heaven”
3/4: “Hallowed be thy name”
3/11: “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven”
3/18: “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us”
3/25: “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”
9:30 a.m.: Adult Sunday School; studying Adam Hamilton’s book, “Final Words” (no Adult Sunday School 4/1 or 4/8)
10:30 a.m. Children’s Sunday School; children start service w/ parents and leave for Sunday School after Children’s Message
Palm Sunday, April 1 :
8:00 & 10:30 a.m. : Palm Sunday Services with the Choir singing the Easter Cantata, "You Are My Victory," and procession of children with Palms.
Good Friday, April 6th :
7:00 p.m.: Joint Good Friday Service with the Lafayette United Methodist Church to be held at Louisville UMC . It will include a message by Pastor Jenny Arfmann and special music from our combined choirs.
Easter Sunday, April 8th :
8:00 & 10:30 a.m. : Easter Services with special music from the choir; final message from the series on The Lord’s Prayer , “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever”
9:00 —10:30 a.m. : All-Church Easter Breakfast
10: 00 a.m. : Children’s Easter Egg Hunt
